When I was about 8 years old, growing up in Nigeria, my dad bought me a book you (Jill Briscoe) wrote called Harrow Sparrow. I LOVED that book, and probably read it a hundred times! After some years I lost it while we were moving, and it broke my heart.
Fast forward to this year. I am now 43 years old, and live in the United States. In the middle of the night a few weeks ago, I had a dream about this book, went on Amazon, found it, and ordered it immediately.
Reading now as an adult blesses me even more because of things I’ve experienced in my life. I just wanted to thank you for writing that story and reawakening hope and reminding me that Jesus didn’t say sparrows wouldn’t fall, but that He did promise that a sparrow wouldn’t fall outside the Father’s care. Thanks for your obedience in writing that story.
❤Love, Nimiwari
