I am a wife and mother to three. My husband’s job had been in jeopardy, and it had been a stressful season of praying and waiting. I came across Jill’s series called Prayer That Works, and it encouraged me not to give up on our prayers and dreams!
Initially as I spent more time in prayer, things actually got worse for my husband at work. I really learned that I can talk to God about all things I’m dealing with—like a daughter talks to her father. Many days while doing housework I would turn on a message from Jill, and the character studies especially encouraged me!
Two weeks ago, as I was praying fervently for my husband, he got a phone call with a new job offer. He started his new job this week, and he loves it. I’m so thankful I didn’t give up on praying, and I’m thankful for all the encouragement I found at Telling the Truth in this difficult nine-month season of waiting. God bless you!
