Isaiah 6 shows Isaiah overwhelmed by a vision of God’s holiness, which exposes his own sinfulness and leads to cleansing and forgiveness. Out of that encounter, he willingly answers God’s call, demonstrating that true service begins with seeing God rightly and seeing ourselves truthfully.
