In our busy lives we sometimes feel like we’re running out of fuel. That’s when it’s time to do what Jesus did when demands were pressing in on Him: Practice the spiritual discipline of solitude. Jesus would get away from the crowd and focus on God the Father. That time alone with His Father gave the Lord an opportunity to recharge and to be comforted before getting back to work.
