How to say “thank you”

You can worship on your own—but it’s better shared with God’s people. It’s how you say “thank you” to the God who saved you.

God’s autobiography

Plenty of people will attempt to write God’s biography. Too few, however, will read His autobiography.

Understanding God

We know the earth revolves around the sun and not vice versa; we know the earth is a globe. But while our knowledge of the universe has grown exponentially our knowledge of God has not.

Accepting responsibility

We must see the difference between a man who will not admit his own failure and one who will go the extreme of taking the failure of others upon himself.

Fickle faith

When people panic, they resort to desperate measures. What’s most needed at such a time is a cool head and clear conviction.

All dressed up

Christians represent Christ by their deportment and behavior. They also bring before Him names of those in need while seeking His guidance as they minister to others.

The ark

From the ark we learn that a holy God desires intimacy with His sinful people, but only because He chose to reach out to them and only when they come seeking His forgiveness on the basis of a substitutionary sacrifice.

Rivers of delight

Men need hearts that confess to spiritual thirst and unabashedly turn to the one who is “the fountain of life, the light by which we see.”

Behind the curtain

Through Christ, people once estranged from God by sin can enjoy an intimacy with Him that satisfies their deepest longings and meets their profoundest needs.

When God says “I will”

Blessed is he who knows the Covenant God of Scripture, whose “I will” will never be changed to “I won’t.”
